We have some very exciting news this morning. We have our very first RUBY - Congratulations to JENNIFER ROWELL!!!

Jennifer joined JewelScent in February of 2014. Since that time she has seen and experienced many changes. Some of those changes were easy and great while others took some time to adjust to as well as working through them (and some took multiple late night calls). I say this because it’s in the successes and the struggles that one then has the ability to “Stretch” and grow. Jennifer is one of a couple of Consultants who does not have a direct sponsor, one to help and support her business. She has reached out, connected with and joined forces with many other leaders in order to learn, grow and then accomplish her GOALS and DREAMS.

I have had the privilege to spend time with “JR”, her family and her beautiful Mom. Funny story, her mom told her not to sign up because “no one ever makes money at these things”. Anna laughs today and every time that Jennifer achieves a new goal or a new milestone in her business. AND let me say today her mom Anna is one of her biggest supporters.

Jennifer is married to a wonderful guy Matthew (who loves to smile). They have two beautiful boys Brody and Caleb who all take an active roll with her in her business. Jennifer works a full-time 9-5 j-o-b and has built her RUBY business along side of her work, friends and family.

DREAMS did not happen overnight and it didn't happen by herself. Jennifer has a dedicated team under her. So I would like to now congratulate Belle Nation and all of your hard work. Achieving any rank cannot solely be done by one’s self. It takes a team, a team willing to grow together, to achieve together and to support one another.

So, from myself and all the staff at JewelScent/Gemtra CONGRATULATIONS Jennifer Rowell and Belle Nation on being our very first RUBY TEAM!

So as we go into the new year ahead of us - make the commitment to yourself and your business to always “DREAM BIG”!  Because Dreams DO come true!  Just ask Jennifer!

A special message from JR's mom Anna…

"THANK YOU Amie for all the wonderful things you said about “JR”. To say that I am PROUD of Jennifer would be an understatement! Her life has truly changed in the last two years. I’m so thankful that she chose THIS opportunity and did not listen to me for once in her life!! LOL

Beyond all the extra monies she has earned thru selling JewelScent, the true blessing has been in the amazing people she has met and that have now become part of our family!! JewelScent has enabled her to afford family vacations – often times to meet other JS family members – right Brandi!!

I know she couldn’t possibly do this on her own – it takes an entire JewelScent village (TEAM) – but I know she works extremely hard at her business!! Thank you and the TEAM for always being there for her. CONGRATULATIONS JEN – keep DREAMING!!!!!!"

Christmas FLASH SALE

Throughout the year I look for awesome deals (buy one get one free or large order specials) and although I display lots of those during my vendor events, I also know that I will have a HUGE sale in December the two weeks before Christmas.  Per normal; holiday shipping is always a little crazy so about two weeks before Christmas I announce to facebook land that I am having a huge inventory blow out sale (remember, I’ve gotten most of these items for free or very reduced) I use many catch phrases like “Christmas Flash sale” or “ bottom prices to reduce inventory” etc.  I pull in many locals and few non-locals (who understand that I will not ship anything until after Christmas) I post a few teasers for a few days leading up to the day I will go LIVE to show off my inventory (teasers are easy like voting on products that they want me to show first or even reminders of online sales) then I start off with the rules of my event.  Rules for me include no shipping until after Christmas and pick up locations and cash versus credit cards, etc; then its on…  Once the sale starts its absolutely insane and has gotten progressively crazier year after year and this year I did almost $2000 in local sales and I didn’t even leave my home; most people came to me and even though they had already decided on what they wanted shopped even more since I had it all nicely displayed when they arrived to my home.  Now, I do work a 7:30am-5pm J.O.B. so hubby and kids had to help out too and that was fun for the whole family. 

Loyalty Rewards Program

I keep a monthly spreadsheet that I update using our back office commissions/earrings reports to track all my VIP online commissionable purchases throughout the year.  I tag them in their totals every month under the Loyalty rewards program post and I try to keep them updated so when they reach a tier level they can get a free item.  In December this is doubly important; since I have my rewards program expire on the 31st the VIP customers know they have to order to get the level they desire to get that free item  (tart or soap or candle, etc) These tiers are high enough that I know I am making a profit and being able to give that reward too (mostly with my own reward points or ½ off codes we can earn through virtual parties)

In October and November, when sales are through the roof, I was able to do several  consultant hosted virtual parties and earn ½ off codes which I saved for December and was able to do drawings and giveaways throughout the month for these. 

The most important thing from these ideas to take away is I paid very little to do any of this, but was able to reap many benefits.  Start to prepare your 2018 year ahead so that you can have the sales and commission that you want!
