Relationship Building

Building a relationship with those around you is what will grow your business. Sharing about our products along with the opportunity to become a JewelScent Consultant will give your new customers as well as existing customers insight about YOU and why they should buy from YOU rather than a competitor.  

It is well known that people buy from people they know and/or trust.  

Connecting with others that are outside of your “warm” circle of friends will require you to invite them into your business life. By doing this they are then able to get to know you and start to feel loyalty toward you because you have let them into a little part of your world. When you begin to do this, you will begin to brand yourself. You and your unique viewpoint is what makes YOU the best at what YOU do.  

Story-Telling Is The Best Way For People To Get To Know You.

Use your opportunities through your Business Page, VIP Page, as well as your Personal Page. Sharing “YOUR STORY” on every social platform that you are using is the easiest way to connect and grow by inviting others into your business. This allows you the opportunity to tell your story, in your own voice and in a conversational way, where your prospects and customers will begin to watch and listen. When posting, write like you speak. Be authentic to who you are, not your upline. Your customers want to connect with you, not with someone they do not know.  

Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest are all social platforms that can speak to different people, so it’s very important to be creative and think about who you are talking to. Using different social media platforms are ideal because you can then attract new prospects where they are likely to be interacting while still maintaining control over your own content. Some people may interact on Snapchat and Instagram but not on Facebook.  Some may interact on Pinterest but not on Twitter. This way you broaden your reach. 

Remember UGC - User Generated Content will attract new readers, prospects and then customers that you may never have imagined, simply by sharing your stories about our different products that you LOVE and the things that you are able to do because of your own business.

Share With Them What OUR Product can do for them.

  • WIIFM = What’s In It For ME (THEM)

As a Consultant it’s your job to let them know “WIIFM”.  Our products are great for personal use and they also make great gifts! It could be for a special occasion or maybe just a little something saying “Thinking of you, have a great day”. Talk about the different ways you can use our products, ie: our body scrubs are great to use as a shaving cream for your legs and even for that man in your life's beard.

Always be aware that others are watching you!

Is what I’m saying going to attract others to my website or could I be offending them, pushing them away? What you say on any social media platform is watched by many. That is why we have to always ASK - Is what I’m doing attractive to a broad reach of people that might not know me?  Be aware of the words and language you use and ask yourself, am I being personable, authentic, someone they would want to do business with. And remember … you are also representing a field of other JewelScent consultants and the JewelScent name, family, mission and company values.


Building a business takes your involvement.

          It’s YOUR words, YOUR story.  

The bottom line is really all about one word and one word only and that word is SHARING!

"A little kindness, even in your business can be EVERYTHING to someone. It’s so important to be kind to everyone. Your attitude can change the way a customer will respond.  Last week I started a VP. I did the guestbook sign in and offered a free Wax Tart Square when we got 8 signatures. I did the drawing and I messaged the winner for her address. She was SO excited and let me know that she was having a baby soon and she was so excited to win a Wax Tart Square because she’s afraid of having candles during the day when he’s active. I explained that I am the same way and burn candles at night and use my 3 warmers during the day when the kids are awake. I also told her that occasionally if I find a candle I absolutely LOVE I will scoop the wax into my warmer, she thought it was an amazing idea! 
But here’s the best part! I sent her the Wax Tart Square she won. But I also added a essentials bath bomb, an essentials Wax Tart pack, a $5 Walmart plug in warmer, 5 sample sizes of body scrub, a soap sample, 2 aroma bead samples (I put in the card they are great for diaper genies), and a card for her congratulating her on her baby, basically a little Mommy stuff mixed with some smell goodies for when baby gets there! She just messaged me this morning thanking me and telling me how excited she is to use these items and I’ve now received a lifelong customer. This is why I’m in the business. Prize club - jewels of america

  • REMINDER: Tomorrow, Tuesday 4/10 is the last day to sign up and receive the Texas bundle!
  • If you need to make any changes to your subscription box you will need to cancel your current subscription and resign up. Example: Address change, ring size, quantities etc...
  • If a customer signs up for the subscription box but then decides to become a Consultant they will also need to cancel their subscription and resign up to be able to get the Consultant discount.  
  • Sweepstakes- Just as a reminder, everyone who has purchased the subscription box (Consultant or Customer) is automatically entered into that month's sweepstakes. If someone is interested in entering the sweepstakes who did not subscribe for the Prize Club can mail in the postcard but there is a limit of one per household. 
  • Recurring Charge - If you sign up on the 31st of the month for the Prize Club and the following month does not have 31 days your recurring charge will automatically update to the 1st of the following month.

Example: Monthly recurring payments due and collected on the 31st. If the subscription terms are $25.99 USD a month and the subscriber signs up on Thursday, July 31. The subscriber is billed as follows:

Thursday, July 31 = $25.99 USD
Saturday, August 31 = $25.99 USD
Wednesday, October 1= $25.99 USD
Saturday, November 1= $25.99 USD
and so on.

Notice that no recurring monthly payment was collected in September, but recurring payments were collected roughly every 30 days.
