Let’s talk about YOUR MONEY MINDSET

What is LIMITING YOUR  BELIEFS about money, that may be keeping you from achieving your own SUCCESS?!

Many think that if you work HARDER or WORK MORE HOURS that you are able to then make more money and that really has NOTHING to do with it.

THE POWER OF 1 MORE…..

One is a very tiny number. One is a doable number to add to your daily task list for your business. However, this tiny little number can have a tremendous impact in your business.

Here are some ideas to consider that will seriously change your business:

Reach out to 1 more person every day. That 1 extra contact/connection a day equals an additional 365 touches a year for your business.

Suggest 1 additional item to every customer that is making a purchase with you. Be it at a Home Show, a Virtual Party, an Event and every 1:1 sale.

Many times we are focused only on getting the initial sale. However, almost everyone has additional items, products or gifts they’re thinking about.  BUT we assume they’re done prior to even being told that. ALWAYS wait for your customer to tell YOU when they are done shopping.

Example: Customer has 5 items they are ordering. You say nothing. Order is placed for those 5 items.

What if: You said something like, “I see you ordered a Pineapple Crush Jewelry Candle,

from our latest new collection. Would you like to add the Pineapple Plunge Jewelry Bath

Bomb to go with it for an additional $14.99?”

  • If you assume the sale is done, then you're settling. If your share with them 1 additional item you have now added additional dollars for that cart.

  • If you used this same approach with every customer can you imagine what your monthly sales would look like and also what your new AOV is. (AOV - Average order volume)

Invest in growing your TEAM.  Invite 1 new prospect to join your team EVERY month. If you are currently doing 1 a month then add an additional 1, and so on and so on.

Connect with 1 more team member a day to help support them in their business.

Ask 1 more question during every conversation. By asking 1 more question, this might just give you the additional insight you need to more effectively position yourself, our products and/or our services.

Pause for 1 moment longer than usual before responding to anything ……..

ie: a question, a request, a comment and even a response.

I think of this as a PLEASANT PAUSE.  (It’s better than opening month and inserting foot!)

The secret behind this strategy is that most people are uncomfortable with silence and will begin talking, answering the question at hand. It also can allow time to figure out the answer for themselves. Either way it’s a better scenario for you.

48% of Consultants never follow-up with their prospects

25% of Consultants make a second contact and STOP

12% of Consultants make contact 3 times and STOP

Only 10% of Consultants make more than 3 attempts to connect with their prospect.

2% of Sales/Sign-ups are made on the 1st contact

3% of Sales/Sign-ups are made on the 2nd contact

5% of Sales/Sign-ups are made on the 3rd contact

10% of Sales/Sign-ups are made on the 4th contact

80% of Sales/Sign-ups are made when you connect with them on the 5th – 12th time.

SO NOW, are you ready to commit to having a follow up strategy?

  • If you need to make any changes to your subscription box you will need to cancel your current subscription and resign up. Example: Address change, ring size, quantities etc...
  • If a customer signs up for the subscription box but then decides to become a Consultant they will also need to cancel their subscription and resign up to be able to get the Consultant discount.  
  • Sweepstakes- Just as a reminder, everyone who has purchased the subscription box (Consultant or Customer) is automatically entered into that month's sweepstakes. If someone is interested in entering the sweepstakes who did not subscribe for the Prize Club can mail in the postcard but there is a limit of one per household. 
  • Recurring Charge - If you sign up on the 31st of the month for the Prize Club and the following month does not have 31 days your recurring charge will automatically update to the 1st of the following month.

Example: Monthly recurring payments due and collected on the 31st. If the subscription terms are $25.99 USD a month and the subscriber signs up on Thursday, July 31. The subscriber is billed as follows:

Thursday, July 31 = $25.99 USD
Saturday, August 31 = $25.99 USD
Wednesday, October 1= $25.99 USD
Saturday, November 1= $25.99 USD
and so on.


Notice that no recurring monthly payment was collected in September, but recurring payments were collected roughly every 30 days.
