As we are approaching month-end, ask yourself, what can I still do to help me achieve/accomplish my personal monthly goals, AND then DO IT!
Once the month is finished, you now need to let go of last months outcome in order to focus on your goals for the following month.
When you’re setting your goals for the next month ask yourself, “what are 1 or 2 things that I could have done differently that would have made a difference in my business the previous month?”
It’s up to YOU to make ANY/ALL adjustments in order to get the outcome you desire.
Failing to achieve our goals/intentions happens because of two basic elements. The first is not knowing your WHY- your PURPOSE for your business. Once this is established
and very clear, you can then build your goals using your WHY as the framework.
The second reason one often fails to achieve their goals is lack of passion and motivation. It can start to fade with time and you begin to second guess your desires, as well as your ability to maintain and achieve your desired goal. One of the key differences between success and failure is simply your level of ACTION. Success requires ACTION. It’s time to stop making excuses for the lack of follow through.
Here are four ways to take responsibility and be accountable to your goals:
1. Track your progress
YOU must continue to reflect on the commitments as well as your performance toward the tasks at hand. It’s important to write down your commitments, your goals, and your plan that you want to achieve. By doing this you’ll know exactly what needs to be done, instead of flying blind. Using the premise of tracking and measuring your progress helps you become conscious of the steps you make. This is a big part of taking responsibility.
2. Make gratitude a habit
When our focus is on what we have it creates an abundance mindset. When we practice gratitude, we put our minds in the best position of achieving success. Being grateful with a positive frame of mind will have impact on any present and future endeavors.
3. Develop a personal growth plan
BE TEACHABLE! Allow yourself to be open and willing to receive knowledge that is available and shared with you. The challenge will be applying that knowledge into your life and business. Make a commitment to invest in YOU. The greatest investment you will ever make is in YOURSELF. When we focus on our own personal growth we will naturally achieve the goals we set.
4. Find your success buddy
If you haven’t got a success buddy, someone you can check in with once each week, I encourage you to make finding that partner a priority. A success buddy is one that you can discuss/share your wins, losses, and challenges that occurred over the week. It builds the accountability that we all need to help us take responsibility for our own success, and helps to cast away the habit of making excuses; a habit we can so easily fall into.

- Join us on Tuesday, May 29th for our Maryland Spin. Our VP of Consultnat Development, Amie Larson will be going live on the JewelScent Corporate Facebook page at 10am PT.
- Our new Subscription box is here! Come join us as we go to the beautiful state of Oregon. Don't wait and join us on this journey across America before June 10th (or while supplies last).
- If you need to make any changes to your subscription box you will need to cancel your current subscription and resign up. Example: Address change, ring size, quantities etc...
If a customer signs up for the subscription box but then decides to become a Consultant they will also need to cancel their subscription and resign up to be able to get the Consultant discount.
- Sweepstakes- Just as a reminder, everyone who has purchased the subscription box (Consultant or Customer) is automatically entered into that month's sweepstakes. If someone is interested in entering the sweepstakes who did not subscribe for the Prize Club can mail in the postcard but there is a limit of one per household.
- Recurring Charge - If you sign up on the 31st of the month for the Prize Club and the following month does not have 31 days your recurring charge will automatically update to the 1st of the following month.
Example: Monthly recurring payments due and collected on the 31st. If the subscription terms are $25.99 USD a month and the subscriber signs up on Thursday, July 31. The subscriber is billed as follows:
Thursday, July 31 = $25.99 USD
Saturday, August 31 = $25.99 USD
Wednesday, October 1= $25.99 USD
Saturday, November 1= $25.99 USD
and so on.
Notice that no recurring monthly payment was collected in September, but recurring payments were collected roughly every 30 days.
