SPRING HAS SPRUNG
Look around you. Be aware of your surroundings. Flowers are in bloom. The grass is green again. Even the trees have turned over a new leaf.
Take a minute to consider different ways that you might grow (grow yourself and grow your business) in this season of renewal.
Just imagine the potential for growth in your individual journey to success that is endless, if you so desire to achieve that growth.
Take a moment to assess and evaluate where you are and where you want to be. Look at the steps below. What can you do today to renew your enthusiasm, improve yourself, grow your business and enrich your life?
Then … GO FOR IT!
Be a student.
Always be willing to learn. “Be Teachable.” Set aside a part of the day to learn something new. You can’t maintain any level of success without dedicating time to learning as well as growing. If you think you know it all then you will never grow past where you are today. You must set challenges and goals in order to achieve.
Be a friend to those around you.
Be on the lookout for opportunities where you can extend an olive branch to someone.
It can be as easy as saying “Hi” to someone you pass by. Thank those that help or provide service to you. When you live your life extending grace to others it then becomes contagious to those that see it.
Share information or a tip.
As you interact with others collecting words of wisdom or nuggets of new growth opportunities, make sure to always share something back. The greatest way to grow is by learning from others. Learn from those that have been in the business for a while, those that are consistent in their business and those that just started. Why reinvent the wheel when more than likely it’s already been done.
Shake it off.
Incredible change happens in your life when you decide to take control of what you do have control over instead of craving control over what you don’t. The most important thing to always remember is to never STOP, never give up, continue moving forward until the very end. Now you are doing what you CAN control and you’ve let go of what you CAN’T control! This allows you to have better control of your final outcome.
If you missed the mark/goal that you were striving for, learn and move on. If you think that a failure can/will define you then it will. Use it as a stepping stone allowing yourself to grow from what you didn't do, or what you can do better. There is always a next time.
The hardest person to forgive is yourself. Let yourself off the hook for one thing today. You want to avoid mistakes, but most of all, you want to avoid being paralyzed by any that you may have made. Look at the word MISTAKE, do you see it? MIS - TAKE. That says to me that you missed the first take, that’s all, nothing more. So here is the opportunity to do it again, and again if you need to in order to get the task right or achieve the goal.
What’s my attitude.
If I adjust my attitude, will it affect the outcome? Attitude is a rare example of something that’s always 100% within your control. If you are aware of your attitude and then negative thoughts; despair, hate, excuses come to mind, then you have the chance to STOP and change your way of thinking. Every ounce of energy can be wasted if you don’t make an adjustment and you will be rob yourself from doing what you could be doing.

Have you done your best?
This last question invites us to do two things:
GO after your Goals and Dreams
Stop expecting a good outcome if you haven’t put in the work. (it doesn’t work that way).
So decide what you want to accomplish. Then work to make it a reality.

My system is very similar to Crystal's and Jennifer's. I just have fun. When someone posts a lot in my VIP group, I make funny comments about how they could do my job. If I put the consultant program out there and they aren't ready, I can always follow up with the hosting opportunity. For my regulars I tend to focus on those that buy at least $50 per month because they are the ones that will save at least $10/month and that covers the tech fee. If I have people that bring a bunch of customers to me I will mention that they are already selling it so why not make the commission. I do think that people are being inundated on FB and I have heard that they don't want to be "that person on FB that is always selling" so the idea of FB wanting to keep FB social is shared by a lot of the people I talk to. - Vicki Edgar, 2018 Ambassador

I also think making a monthly list every month of at least ten prospects (or more) and then making sure to check in with them throughout the month. When you don’t ask, the answer is always NO! Does everyone you know, know what you do? Share with everyone you know and everyone you come in contact with. The point is to SHARE to see if they show interest. It’s casting your fishing line to see if you get a nibble and then you follow up on the nibbles! Start the conversation. ASK questions and LISTEN to their response. This allows you to present ONLY what’s important to them so you don’t overwhelm them with too much information! - Karen Braas-Johnson, Field Development Manager

- May 10th will be the last day to order the Maryland Subscription Prize Club (or while supplies last). We will be announcing the new destination this week. Where will we go next?
- If you need to make any changes to your subscription box you will need to cancel your current subscription and resign up. Example: Address change, ring size, quantities etc...
- If a customer signs up for the subscription box but then decides to become a Consultant they will also need to cancel their subscription and resign up to be able to get the Consultant discount.
- Sweepstakes- Just as a reminder, everyone who has purchased the subscription box (Consultant or Customer) is automatically entered into that month's sweepstakes. If someone is interested in entering the sweepstakes who did not subscribe for the Prize Club can mail in the postcard but there is a limit of one per household.
- Recurring Charge - If you sign up on the 31st of the month for the Prize Club and the following month does not have 31 days your recurring charge will automatically update to the 1st of the following month.
Example: Monthly recurring payments due and collected on the 31st. If the subscription terms are $25.99 USD a month and the subscriber signs up on Thursday, July 31. The subscriber is billed as follows:
Thursday, July 31 = $25.99 USD
Saturday, August 31 = $25.99 USD
Wednesday, October 1= $25.99 USD
Saturday, November 1= $25.99 USD
and so on.
Notice that no recurring monthly payment was collected in September, but recurring payments were collected roughly every 30 days.
